This is an antique Carnival glass short hat shaped vase made by Northwood in the Lustre Flute pattern. The piece has a ruffled top and is marigold iridescent at the top and clear at the bottom - the iridescence fades down the piece. The bottom is rayed and is marked in the centre with the underlined N. The vase measures 3 3/8 in height and has a top diameter of 4 3/4. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This pattern dates to around 1909.
